Invincible's Steven Yeun On Working With Robert Kirkman Again After The Walking Dead

Steven Yeun became a household name as Glenn on AMC’s The Walking Dead, which was based on a comic book by Robert Kirkman. Now, Yeun is starring as Mark Grayson in Amazon Prime’s Invincible, another series based on a comic by Kirkman.

During IGN Fan Fest, Yeun spoke about how he got the role on the upcoming animated show, which arrives on March 26. “Robert just hit me up kind of randomly and said, ‘I’m doing Invincible. Would you come in and kind of like help me realize part of this script?'” said Yeun. “He wanted me to come in and just play around in a booth, and we did this really cool scene that I really enjoyed about two security guards that—I think he’s going to be in it—but it’s a beautiful scene, and it really made me understand like what he was trying to make.

“Not too long after, he asked me if I would play Mark [Grayson] and for me, you know, I love Robert and also like having had that experience reading the some of the script that he wrote, and where the s…

Knockout City Review – Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive, And Dodge

Knockout City’s colorful, cartoonish aesthetic plays host to a relatively straightforward game of dodgeball, putting two teams against each other in a war waged with red rubber balls. But once you start factoring in deployable gliders, balls that can trap opponents in cages, and throwing techniques that can bend your shots around corners, Knockout City’s identity starts to bubble to the surface. In between the satisfying thunks of direct hits and the grace of each character’s movements, Knockout City features a satisfying level of depth that balances its pickup-and-play nature with a compelling competitive element that’s difficult to walk away from.

Each of Knockout City’s rotating modes rests on the fundamentals of finding a ball and trying to hit opposing players twice with it for a knockout, racking up your team’s score in the process. Knockout City makes this both simple and satisfying by automatically targeting enemies for you, but giving you control o…

Lord Of The Rings Star Dominic Monaghan Discusses Most Difficult Scene To Film

Actor Dominic Monaghan, who played Merry in Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings film series, has spoken about the most difficult scene in the entire series for him to film. Speaking to IGN, Monaghan said it was the Gray Havens scene at the end of The Return of the King, and what made it so difficult was the emotional weight of it and the fact that they had to film it three times.

“If you were to ask all four of us, ‘Pick a scene you can guarantee you only have to do once and not go back to,’ we probably would have said Grey Havens, just cause we were all there weeping like children,” he said. “So, doing it three times, I definitely think that the third version that I did, the one that’s in the film, is probably not quite as hysterical in terms of the state that I’m in as the first one, or possibly even the second one. So, that was tough.”

Monaghan said Jackson wanted the four main Hobbits to be “a mess” when it came to their vulnerability and sadness over saying go…
